Peacock’s hit show Bel-Air is set to return to screens on November 24. The show, which is now in its fourth season, will feature most of its original cast, including Jabari Banks (Will), Olly Sholotan (Carlton Banks), Coco Jones (Hilary Banks), Akira Akbar (Ashley Banks), Adrian Holmes (Philip Banks), Cassandra Freeman (Vivian Banks), Jimmy Akingbola (Geoffrey), Jordan L. Jones (Jazz), and Simone Joy Jones (Lisa Wilkes). The fourth season, which will also be the show’s final installment, will comprise eight 60-minute episodes.
The official logline for the season shared by Peacock is as follows: “In season four of Peacock’s successful one-hour drama series Bel-Air, Will tries to balance the fun and excitement of senior year with the expectations that have brought him to this moment. Carlton tests his own resolve as he deals with the fallout of some very big decisions that could threaten his future. Together, both boys will help each other through this pivotal time in their lives. An unexpected power shift will threaten the brotherhood between Phil and Geoffrey, whose loyalties to the Banks family will be tested. Viv struggles with reinventing herself as she looks at motherhood from a different perspective. It’s Ashley’s freshman year in high school and she’s working through a rebellious phase but quickly learns that the status quo may no longer serve her. Hilary goes on a journey of self-exploration.”
In the last season, Uncle Phil and Aunt Viv took major steps toward strengthening their marriage and rebuilding trust. However, the finale revealed a major twist — Viv is pregnant, which ultimately threatens her resolve to focus on her career. Hilary and Lamarcus finally got married, but their union remains under strain due to Lamarcus’s declining health. Meanwhile, in a bid to protect the Banks family and his own, Geoffrey disappeared, leaving everyone behind, but Will was kidnapped by people who may be connected to Geoffrey’s past.
